The screw oil press is composed of feed hopper, gear box, press cage, press screw shaft and frame components. Its working principle is to use the continuous advance of the pressed screw in the press chamber and the change of the space volume in the press chamber from large to small, so as to squeeze the grease out of the blank.

1. Excessive slagging




(1) If the oil is too dry and the debris is discharged from the pressing seam, readjust the water content of the oil at this time.




(2) The oil is too wet to form pressure, and the oil residue cannot be separated. If the oil discharge gap is too large at this time, the residue will be squeezed out of the oil gap. The water content of the oil and the tightness of the pressing strip assembly should be adjusted.




(3) If the pressing strip is too loose, the pressing strip should be tightened.




2. Poor oil delivery




(1) The oil seam of the pressing strip is blocked by oil residue and debris, or the pressing strip is installed too tightly. At this time, the oil residue and debris should be removed, or the tightness of the pressing strip should be readjusted. If there is oil stored in the hopper, stop feeding and slowly flush out the oil with cakes before continuing to work normally. The oil can also be discharged from the discharge port, the parts of the press chamber can be disassembled again, and then the press can be started.




(2) The oil content of the oil is high, but the cake is too thin, so the oil cannot be discharged from the seam in time and is stored in the press chamber and hopper. At this time, the oil seeds with high oil content should be pressed, and the cake should be thicker, otherwise it should be thinner.




3. No oil output or low oil output rate




(1) Raw materials are too wet or dry, damp and moldy, seeds are not full, and there are too many impurities. The oil shall be cleaned again or the moisture of the oil shall be adjusted.




(2) If the oil discharge joint is blocked by oil residue or the pressing strip is assembled too tightly, remove the oil residue and adjust the tightness of the pressing strip according to the oil content.




(3) If the pressing bar, screw and cake ring are worn, the worn parts should be replaced.




(4) When the cake is too thin or too thick, the cake thickness or oil output should be adjusted.




(5) At the initial stage of pressing, the temperature of the pressing chamber is too low, so the mill should be preheated to increase the temperature.




4. Sudden stop, screw shaft is stuck




(1) When too much material is fed at the initial stage of pressing, it can be fed slowly with fried oilseeds or dry cakes of heated water, and the mill can be removed repeatedly.




(2) During the pressing process, the material is broken in the press chamber, and then a large amount of material is fed. At this time, the cake is too thin, resulting in poor discharge, and the press chamber is blocked by oil. Therefore, the feeding should be continuous and uniform, and the oil cake should not be too thin. In case of blockage, turn off the power immediately, stop feeding, open the discharge plate, exit the screw shaft, remove the oil in the chamber, and press again.




(3) If the oil is not cleaned and there are stones, metals and other sundries entering the press chamber, stop the machine and take them out.




5. Broken press cage




(1) When starting up, there is suddenly too much blanking. It should be done slowly, and then increase the feeding amount after the feeding is smooth and the cake is discharged.




(2) When hard impurities such as metals or stones enter the press chamber, the oil should be cleaned.




(3) If the cake is too dry during running in, add an appropriate amount of water to the cake.




(4) The gap between the cake mixing head and the cake discharging ring is too small, and the feeding is forced. Increase the cake discharge clearance.




(5) The pressing times are too many, and no water is added to the blank. Increase the moisture content of the blank and reduce the pressure of the pressing chamber.




(6) The residual cake in the pressing chamber is not cleaned, and a large amount of feeding and pressing are started, so the machine can be started after cleaning.




6. Other reasons affecting production




(1) The cleanliness of raw materials is not enough, and sand and impurities enter the press chamber.




(2) The screw shaft or cake outlet is not smooth, which affects the feeding and discharging of the cake. You can use the grinding wheel to polish it, or you can add materials with large friction coefficient such as chaff into the cake, add appropriate water, start the machine, slowly feed and press, and polish the cake outlet.




(3) If the speed of the screw shaft is too high or too low, the speed should be adjusted until it meets the requirements.




(4) If the screw shaft is polished, replace the parts.
