The faults and troubleshooting methods of crocodile scissors are as follows:
Power and startup issues: If the indicator light on the crocodile splicing power is on but the motor cannot start, it may be due to a power phase loss or a virtual connection of the main control line. The power supply, control lines, and main stop button should be inspected and repaired.
Automatic feeding problem: If the crocodile cutter does not feed automatically, it may be due to a broken feeding circuit, damaged transformer, damaged rectifier block, broken fuse or electromagnetic clutch. The feed line should be inspected and repaired, and the upper live wire 380V and lower live wire 24-26V should be checked for normal operation. If they are not normal, they should be repaired or replaced.
Automatic tool retraction issue: If the crocodile cutter hits the rear travel switch and does not stop during automatic retraction, it may be due to the sintering of the retraction contact point that does not loosen. The contacts should be ground or replaced with new ones.
Hydraulic oil issue: Before use, the crocodile cutter should check whether the hydraulic oil in the oil tank is sufficient and maintain sufficient oil level. Lack of hydraulic oil may cause high temperature or even damage to the oil pump. Regularly check the three travel switches (shear, return, overtravel) behind the host, and adjust the contact distance with the host in a timely manner after using the new machine for a period of time. It is strictly prohibited to turn on the machine on rainy days to prevent short circuit injuries and damage to the machine. It is also necessary to check whether the screws on the upper and lower blades of the shearing machine are tightened, whether there is any material falling from the gap inside the blade, and whether there is oil leakage at the connection of the high-pressure oil pipe.
Hydraulic valve issue: If the crocodile shears have a slow speed of raising or insufficient height, it may be due to insufficient hydraulic oil. The intelligent management system built into the machine equipment should be used to check whether the gear oil is sufficient and to fill it in a timely manner.
Cleaning and repair of hydraulic valves: 70% of hydraulic valve failures are caused by unclean oil. Hydraulic valves should be regularly inspected, and if necessary, disassembled, cleaned, and repaired. When cleaning, the dirt on the surface of the hydraulic valve should be removed first, then disassembled for cleaning, and finally dried with hot air. Conditional enterprises can use ultrasonic cleaning, but should avoid using toxic or flammable cleaning agents.
